About Us
The NFL Alumni is a charitable organization composed primarily of former professional football players guided in their volunteer efforts by the motto Caring For Kids. The NFL Alumni's secondary objective is to help its own by offering support to former pros experiencing financial or medical hardship.

The Connecticut chapter was founded in December of 2006. The chapter's first event was a highly successful charity golf tournament in June of 2007 at The Country Club of Darien that included Tiki Barber, Ron Jaworski, Stuart Scott, Frank Gifford, and many others. The tournament raised $100,000 and placed the chapter in the top 5 of all the other chapters in terms of money raised on the first event.
